I think the idea of getting rid of all the existing Church buildings and building one small, eco-friendly church instead is good. This would eliminate a lot of wasted resources and reduce heating and maintenance costs. The seating in the new church could be, as in Trinity, on moveable chairs, so the church can be used for community activities as well as spiritual.
