When i went to Ireland for a family reunion in 2019 we went on confirmation weekend. Baptism and confirmation is a massive event in Kildare. Hotels get booked many months in advance and private celebrations in restaurants is huge. Its a really big event. There are shops selling or renting confirmation dresses and suits etc.
Is this something all the churches can work together with? A baptism weekend on the same date each year. Everyone involved. Could even take place in one venue..and all ministers, clergy involved. The churches would all have a good presence. A celebration planned afterwards. Lots of publicity etc.
